Chromated Copper Arsenate Treated Timber

In Chromated Copper Arsenate (CCA) treatment, copper is the primary fungicide, arsenic is a secondary fungicide, and an insecticide and chromium are a fixative, which also provides ultraviolet (UV) light resistance.

Recognized for the greenish tint it imparts to timber, CCA is a preservative that was extremely common for many decades. CCA treated timber can be glued and painted and has a pleasant natural-looking, green finish which is safe to handle with no odor.

CCA Treated Timber is treated in the following Hazard Classes:

  • Internal above ground
  • External and above ground
  • In ground contact
  • Vineyard

We keep stock of a wide range of CCA Wooden Poles.

CCA Round poles are used for fencing, building, and other structures. Treated poles are also inexpensive in comparison to normal steel posts.

We also use them as decorative pieces to cover up walls or for a fence on its own that can block wind and allow privacy.

CCA Droppers

CCA Droppers are being used more and more every day. Unlike steel droppers, you can’t sell them as scrap metal. CCA Droppers are also a lot cheaper than conventional steel droppers.
